Weeeeee..... Connectivity

Finally, I have land line and internet service available at home again - not that I've had the chance to utilize it much as of yet given my late arrival at home last night. But it was reassuring to know that, once again, I was connected to the world. My cell phone minutes took a beating this week - and that was just handling what needed to be handled. I swear those companies with the 30 minutes of on-hold so that you can report, update, etc need to utilize the same technology that my company does. If a wait is expected to exceed 5 minutes, you're given the option of an automatic call back, and boy is that technology slick! Oh well. At least I have connectivity again.

I'm told it was a broken cable. Funny how a cable can be broken that takes out my service by my neighbors still have service, eh? The original ETA for repair was 8pm tonight. Yes, as in 5 days after the service went down. Holy cow! But it was fixed early and seems to be working fine.

Oh, and for that person who has stopped by several times a day in the last few days just to see if I got service back (I'm guessing that would be the only reason to stop by here multiple times a day anyway) -- yes, I'm back. Hello.
