I know you'll all be as relieved as I am to find out that the $55 test they did in the Emergency Rooms proves conclusively that I am not pregnant.
I could have told them that if they'd asked. It's been awhile, but I'm pretty sure I remember what it takes for conception. Yup, I definitely could not be pregnant.
I'm so glad that our hospitals have standard orders instead of treating patients as individuals. (insert eye roll here)
Dare we say this is a great place to start fixing the health care situation in America?

I totally understand you! When I was a teenager, I was put on a medication (for acne)that was known to cause horrible birth defects. They wanted to put me on a contraceptive, but when I told them there was no reason, they settled with a monthly pregnancy test. And I guess that makes total sense!
