A Simple Request

As you may be aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are many, many different fund raisers happening across the country, including an American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Springfield, Illinois.

My friend Cindy is taking part in this walk and has set a personal fund raising goal of only $500. As of this morning, she's only 60% of the way there. I'm asking each of you who are reading, who are in a position to donate (I know that not everyone can) to please click on the link to Cindy's page for this walk and make a donation.

There are Breast Cancer survivors (yes, more than one) in my own family so this fund raiser has a special place in my heart. Hopefully it will in yours as well.
