The Long Awaited Photos

So we have this thing that runs in our family called procrastination. Daddy finally gave me the pictures in November from his trip to see us in June. And I finally dug out the scanner software that I was supposed to reload on the new computer over a year ago so that I could can (in February) the photos I was given in November. We're fortunate that we all cooperated to get this project done before the kids reached adulthood.


You may remember from previous posts that we were lucky enough to be blessed with 2 visits from my father last year. In March, Daddy made the trip for boychild's crossover from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts during which he was awarded his Arrow of Light. I was so proud of boychild that night. And I was pleased that my father would make the efforts to share this event with our family. Read more here Anyway, I also go a very rare picture of my father with boychild. No, his face isn't usually that blurry but when you haven't got photgraphic releases and it is the internet...



We also finally got the photos of the infamous fishing trip. As you may recall (here) Daddy took the kids fishing and girlchild was the only one who caught a fish.


She does looked pleased with herself, doesn't she... after the initial "what do I do with this thing now?"?

I may yet get better at providing more frequent updates to the blog. Maybe. At least it doesn't take me as long to update the blog as it does to scan photos.
