News at a Glance
* Both kids had birthdays this month. Boy child has officially entered the world of the teenager while his sister is not far behind.
* Gall Bladder surgery went well. Healed fast, no complications. Finally getting back into the swing of things.
* Still teaching Primary only this year it's a much more rambunctious group. Heaven help me! Apparently I have lessons yet to learn.
* Boy child was finally awarded his Star Scout at Court of Honor a couple of weeks ago. He's well on his way to earning his Life Scout. Now if he could just get motivated enough to finish the 1 or 2 requirements he has on his merit badges.
* Spring is almost here. Technically, it is here according to the calendar, but the days are more grey and wet than they are sunshine and warmth. Although, since our garden opens soon, there is hope that the sun will become a more permanent fixture in the days to come.
* The kids counted out the change in the "vacation jar" and are quite amazed at what we've been able to accumulate. We may not be able to travel around the world on it, but it should provide us with a good start toward a trip to Missouri we've been wanting to take for some time now.
That's it in a nutshell - same ole, same ole around here. Hopefully the person who is scouring the blog will realize the damning information they think they might find just isn't there. I've said it before in print and I'll say it again in print, this blog is to try and focus on the positive things in my relationship with other people. On occasion, a blurb will be made by way of explanation, but if you're looking for the part where you think I might have totally trashed you, you won't find it. If anything, perhaps you'll gain some insight and we can find new common ground with which to go forward.

EEK! A teenager! Happy birthday to your kids. Hope it all went well. Glad your gall bladder surgery went well.
*HUGS*
The whole teenager thing is scary, huh? The part that freaked me out even more wasn't his age, it was girlchild graduating to panty hose. Sniff, sniff... she's my baby and she's dressing all grown up. At least she's still very modest so no concerns about her dressing like a tramp at her age!
